Fyrish Monument
Take a hike up Cnoc Fyrish to discover this 18th-century monument, built to provide local employment. The summit offers spectacular views across the firth and toward Ben Wyvis.

Dalmore & Teaninich Distilleries
Two historic whisky distilleries sit on the banks of the River Averon.

Coulhill Woods & Riverside Walks
Explore tranquil forest trails and riverside paths, with frequent sightings of dolphins and seals in the firth.

During World War I, Dalmore Pier—known locally as the “Yankee Pier”—was used by the U.S. Navy as a base for mine-laying operations.
